Jemma Harris

Artistic Director/Vocal Coach

Jemma studied at Middlesex University where she gained a BA Hons degree in Performing Arts-Music and then continued her training at The Guildford School Of Acting specialising in Musical Theatre. She has worked extensively as Actor, Vocal Coach, Musical Director and Percussionist. Alongside her performing, Jemma is also committed to the vocal training and nurturing of young musical theatre performers, and has been working as a singing teacher and vocal coach for the past 15 years.

Over the years Jemma has been involved with many children’s workshops and youth projects across the U.K. She has also worked with international students on various overseas exchange programmes on musicals including- Sister Act, Legally Blonde, Anything Goes, The Addams Family, Hot Mikado. Fiddler On The Roof.

Jemma is able to develop a fantastic rapport with her students enabling them to fully express themselves and give accomplished performances, underpinned with technical understanding.

Professional Musical Director credits include: Pinocchio-Shakespeare4kids Tour, Legally Blonde-The Headington Theatre, Oxford, Hairspray-The Headington Theatre, Oxford, A Night At The Musicals-Rose Theatre, Kingston Upon Thames, Broadway And Beyond-Dorking Halls, Cinderella-Dorking Halls, The Wizard Of Oz- Sheringham Little Theatre, A Christmas Carol- St John’s Church, Waterloo.

Jemma recently appeared at The Wight Proms as a principal vocalist alongside Kerry Ellis and Daniel Boyes, also taking on the role of Music Supervisor for the event. Other credits include G4 Live-Choreographer, Beauty & The Beast-Grimalkin. As a percussionist Jemma has performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall. She has also recorded for Classic FM.
