Rory Howes

Drama Teacher

Rory trained at East 15 Acting School on the BA Acting and Contemporary Theatre course, where he was the winner of the Jack Petchey Award and the Lilian Baylis Award, as well as the school's chosen representative for the Sam Wanamaker Festival at The Globe Theatre in 2019. Beyond his training, he has worked internationally with the Emerald Isle Theatre Company, as well as developing projects with the National Youth Theatre.


Theatre includes: Performer in Five:Eight (Bernie Grant Arts Centre), MacBeth in Macbeth (East 15 Acting School), Various in Sisters/For Sale (touring throughout France and Belgium), Mr Norman in The Tom Bennett Cabaret (Camden People's Theatre), Jacob Loin in Humble Pie (Hens and Chickens Theatre) and Sergei Bassov in Summerfolk (East 15 Acting School).


As well as his training as an actor, Rory works as a writer and director. His debut play, 'A Partnership' was staged as part of Debut Festival 2019, and The Tom Bennett Cabaret was directed, staged and partially performed by him for the Camden People's Theatre in 2018. 


Rory loves bringing drama, play and a sense of fun to his students, and can't wait to see where the mad and wonderful world of Players takes each and every one of them.
