JAY BRYCE

Drama Teacher

Jay trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

 

As an Actor, his Theatre work includes; Heavenly Friend in CAROUSEL (English National Opera, Coliseum Theatre); Shelly Berger in MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL (Shaftesbury Theatre, London); Father Alexander/understudy and playing ‘Dad’ roles in MAMMA MIA! (International Tour); Student/understudied and played Javert in LES MISERABLES (Queen’s Theatre, London); Ensemble/understudied and played Bill Sikes in OLIVER! (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London); Rooster in ANNIE and Sammy in BLOOD BROTHERS (both Madinat Theatre, Dubai); Understudying and playing Isidor Strauss in Titanic: The Musical (China Tour).

 

You can also see Jay in the Les Miserables: 25th Anniversary Concert  (O2 Arena), where he played Bishop’s Constable. Jay has also featured as a dancer in Motown: The Musical on Children In Need (BBC), Britain’s Got Talent (ITV), Let It Shine (BBC) and Diversity Presents Steal The Show (ITV).

 

Jay works as an Acting coach and as a Vocal coach, alongside his acting work, teaching privately and all around the Country and Internationally. He is passionate about teaching the Arts to young people and seeing them develop as performers and, more importantly, as people.
